Before it was interrupted by Covid-19, Square Wave was a bimonthly gathering of modular synthesists in Deventer (NL). While waiting impatiently for its return, there’s now an album out with some of the best improvised jam sessions recorded there.
These are improvised performances where the artist pairs (Acheface is listed as ‘Gijs’) and tempo are determined by a draw.
